After almost 26 years, she made a comeback in 2009 with a Bollywood film, ‘Love Aaj Kal ’ alongside her husband. Neet has acted Rishi Kapoor (her husband) in 12 Bollywood films, including ‘Zehreela Insaan (1974), ‘Khel Khel Mein’ (1975), ‘Rafoo Chakkar’ (1975), ‘Kabhie Kabhie’ etc.Īfter getting married she took a break from Bollywood at the age of 21.
She has acted as a child actor in many Bollywood films, like ‘Dus Lakh’ (1966), ‘Do Kaliyaan’ etc. Neetu made her debut as a child actor in the film, ‘Suraj’ in 1966.
On 30 April 2020, her husband, passed away after a two-year-long battle with leukaemia in Mumbai. Neetu’s second child is the famous Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor, who was born on 28 September 1982. Neetu gave birth to her first child, Riddhima Kapoor on 15 September 1980.
